Outstanding high definition images
Panasonic DVD home theatre systems share the same goal as the Blu-ray disc player; to bring remarkably high image quality to today's HD viewers. The systems feature a 1080p up-conversion function that converts standard definition images from DVD sources to high definition images. These up-converted signals draw out the maximum performance of an HDMI-compatible 1080p HDTV, giving you exceptionally detailed high-resolution images.
Easy to set up, without a lot of messy cables
The SC-XH50 is compatible with front layout mode, which allows 5.1ch ‘surround sound’ with five speakers placed in the front. This means that even with space limitations, you can enjoy a real home cinema experience. You can also do away with multiple cables, as the system features the ability to receive audio signals via a single cable from the TV (on top of the pre-existing HDMI function of sending audio/video signals to the TV) thanks to the ARC (Audio Return Channel). This unit is super easy to set up; all you have to do is follow the on-screen instructions.
Distinctive Down Firing design subwoofer
The Down Firing sub-woofer delivers powerful bass through downwards release of sound from the speaker unit & port.
HDMI Output and Up-conversion 1080p
With HDMI connection, audio and video are transmitted without deterioration in sound quality. Both video and audio signals are transmitted via a single cable, making connection easier and reducing clutter. HDMI also enables up-conversion to HD.
VIErA Link Technology for 'one touch' play
HDMI’s single cable enables transmission of control signals as well as AV signals. Just hook up to your new VIErA TV and you can use your remote control for all your home theatre entertainment. Switching on, TV input and other settings are all automatically adjusted: just press the button, sit back and enjoy the show.
