Plasma televisions have always been known for their exceptional picture quality. But they had some flaws, too; notably screens that reflect light, the small but scary risk of "burn-in," and high energy usage. LG's 50PT350 is changing the story, bringing you the great picture you'd expect from plasma without all the drawbacks. This 720p TV features a 600Hz sub-field drive, giving it the ability to handle even the quickest action with so much as a stutter. It's also capable of 1:1 pixel matching on sources up to 1080p and of handling 24p input (3:3 pulldown). It features plenty of different image options, and is ISFccc ready. Once you have your ideal set-up, an image sensor adjusts the on-screen picture to fit the room you're watching it in. It has three USB ports, so you can easily enjoy all of your own media with the PT350. However, the 50PT350 also features an anti-glare screen coating and three different ISM modes to prevent burn-in. On the energy front, this isn't your typical plasma TV either. This LG is ENERGY STAR-certified, guaranteeing that it uses less energy (saving you more money) than the competition.
